starting summer/fall 2007 within the "Computer Supported Mobile Adaptive
Business Processes (CosmoBiz)" research project funded by the research council
for technology and production (grant no 274-06-0415).

One scholarship within Formal Semantics and Types for Mobile Adaptive Business
Processes ref. no. 225-0026:
The successful applicant will be an excellent student capable of conducting
research, under supervision, at the highest international level. Applicants are
expected to have an MSc (or having completed 4 years of studies towards a MSc)
in Computer Science, Engineering or Mathematics and in particular have
experience in one or more of the areas of type theory, formal semantics,
process calculi, bigraphs, graph rewriting, concurrency theory and
implementation of research-based software systems.

Generel information:
The PhD scholarships run for a period of three or four years depending on the
educational level of the student. A three-year scholarship can only be awarded
to applicants with a Master’s degree equivalent to a Danish graduate degree.
Students with the equivalence of 4 years of university studies - where one year
(60 ECTS) is transferable to one of the Master of IT programs at ITU - can be
awarded a four-year scholarship.

Appointment and salary will be in accordance with the agreement between the
Ministry of Finance and the Danish Confederation of Professional Associations

The Eni Corporate University announces a competition for an academic
course that leads to a Master's Degree in Energy and Environmental
Management and Economics - MEDEA. The course is organized and
managed by the Scuola Enrico Mattei.

The Master is offered to Italian and foreign university graduates
that are interested in career paths within firms, authorities and
other institutions operating in the energy and environmental
sectors. For the Academic Year 2007-2008, the Scuola Enrico Mattei
will assign a maximum of 50 scholarships.

Three programs of the MEDEA are offered:

Energy Industry Economics
Business Administration in Energy Industry
Managing Technical Assets in Energy Industry

The program is articulated on three phases, with an increasing
degree of specialisation. All profiles consist of preliminary
courses, followed by fundamental courses and by specialisation
classes.

The Academic Year runs for ten months, from September 5, 2007
through to June 27, 2008. Full-time attendance is required. Since
courses are conducted in Italian and in English, an intensive
Italian language course will be held during the summer of 2007.
Those who have successfully completed the programme of study will be
awarded a Master's Degree in Energy and Environmental Management and
Economics - MEDEA.

REQUIREMENTS

Admission is subject to the following requirements:

university degree in Italy, or an equivalent academic qualification

The ASEAN Undergraduate Scholarship (AUS) is offered by the National University of Singapore (NUS)to full-time NUS undergraduates who have outstanding academic merit and co-curricular activities.

Eligibility
The AUS is awarded to freshmen based on academic merit. These freshmen must be citizens or permanent residents of an ASEAN* member country. Singapore citizens are ineligible to apply for the AUS.

Candidates will be considered and shortlisted for interviews through their application for admission to NUS. No separate scholarship application is required.

*ASEAN nations: Brunei Darussalam, Cambodia,Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam.

Terms and conditions
The scholarship covers tuition fees and provides an annual living allowance of S$4,300. The scholarship is tenable for the minimum period of candidature for the respective undergraduate courses at NUS.

The scholarship does not carry a bond. However, tuition fees at NUS have been subsidised by the Singapore Ministry of Education (MOE) through the MOE Tution Grant Subsidy. The MOE Tuition Grant Subsidy is not covered under the scholarship scheme. The MOE Tuition Grant Subsidy carries a bond for students who are not Singapore citizens. All Singapore permanent residents and international students taking up the MOE Tuition Grant Subsidy are required to work with a Singapore-registered company of their choice for three years upon graduation. Due to the higher fees and subsidies for the Dental and Medical courses, students in these courses are obliged to work for a longer bond period of five and six years respectively.

The scholarship is open to students from all faculties. However, candidates should note that due to the highly competitive nature of courses like Medicine, Dentistry and Law, there are limited scholarships for students who wish to pursue these courses.

Recipients of the scholarship may not concurrently hold any other scholarship, fellowship, grant or award without prior approval from the University.

The University does not provide any assistance towards travel or other costs nor does it guarantee employment for the scholar upon graduation.

The scholarship covers the entire duration of undergraduate studies on condition that scholars maintain a minimum CAP (Cumulative Average Point) of 3.5. The academic performance is monitored on a semester basis.

If the scholar decides to terminate the scholarship prematurely, the university reserves the right to impose a repayment on a case-by-case basis.

• Shortlisted candidates will be informed by 30 June of the year of admission.

Goal
The PhD places involve a research training and aim at the completion of a PhD dissertation within a maximum of three years. As part of their training, PhD students will take courses offered by the National Graduate School in Linguistics (LOT).

Qualifications
Applicants should have an MA degree (or nearing completion, expected graduation by August 2007) in theoretical linguistics, computational linguistics or experimental linguistics (language acquisition, psycholinguistics, phonetics, text linguistics) . Applications in the field of dyslexia are particularly welcome. Applicants should speak and write fluent English.

Grant conditions
The grant amounts to a monthly sum of ?1400, payable at the beginning of each month. It is allocated for a trial period of one year, to be extended upon positive evaluation of the student`s progress by a further two years (maximum). The grant entitles students to supervision, office and library facilities, assistance in finding housing as well as participation in the institute`s support system for linguistics- related expenses (including attending conferences and LOT schools).
For legal reasons, no grants can be offered to permanent residents of the Netherlands.

How to apply?
The deadline for receipt of applications is March 25th, 2007.

Applications (by regular mail or by e-mail) should include a letter of motivation and a 3-5p project proposal (a research question well-grounded in existing literature supplemented with a research strategy, provisional workplan and bibliography) . The Fulbright Program in Indonesia promotes mutual understanding between the Republic of Indonesia and the United States of America through educational exchange and academic scholarship. Fulbright scholarships are available to Indonesian citizens with the appropriate qualifications as stipulated in the program descriptions listed below.

ELIGIBILITY & REQUIREMENTS
Preference will be given to applicants who serve or plan to serve as faculty members of state and private institutions of higher education in Indonesia and have not previously received any Fulbright scholarship.

Australian Development Scholarship (ADS) are funded by the government of Australia for postgraduate study at Australian Universities. The main goal of ADS is to promote Indonesia's human resource capacity to contribute to:

* Improving economic management;
* Strengthening democratic institutions and practise;
* Increasing the accessibility and quality of basic social services; and
* Enhancing security and stability.

ADS have played a significant role in Australia's development cooperation program in Indonesia, with around 10.000 scholarships provided over more than 50 years. ADS continues to be a major component of the program with up to 300 scholarships offered in 2007/2008.

Each year, the Australian Government sponsors people from some developing countries to study in Australia through Australian Development Scholarships (ADS). The Australian Development Scholarship program in Indonesia aims to promote private and public sector human resource development in areas of agreed development priority.
